A wonderfully atmospheric view of the Swedish west coast, where sea and sky seem to melt quietly into one another. A solitary sailing ship moves across the distant horizon, while the low rocky shoreline disappears into the gentle rhythm of the waves.
Painted in a restrained palette of silvery blues, soft greens and dusky rose tones, the work has an almost dreamlike stillness. There is little drama here — just the endless sea, a passing boat and that particular light of the Bohuslän coast.
